Saw a thread like this in the OBS section. Thought it might be cool for us to do the same.

Post up some pics of your ride from the recent storm.

Here is mine after trudging through the 6" or so we got in Abilene.

Safe at home the morning of the storm a few hours after pulling out a kid stuck in his VW and forging a trail for him to follow in my tire tracks.

Is it hard for your rig to get around in the snow with those tires on it? I'd think you'd slide all over the place....

yes it is hard and yes i slide all over the place. Last time I went up to colorado I drove my nbs Z71 4x4 tahoe with goodyear wrangler mud terrain 285s with stock 17" rims... switched to a 2wd with 305s and 24s this year... overall BAD IDEA for snowboarding vehicle in the mountains.

 Might be worth it to get a second vehicle with 4wd just for such occasions :D

yeah I was going to ask the same thing. Only reason I took mine of for the winter is so they don't get trashed. I don't think the salt would hurt it that much but I am just afraid of getting 12" of snow and then scratching them on the ice and crap.

We didnt get any snow today but we go ice.

I hate it when it ices up like that. Always seems to freeze the doors shut. One of these days I'm afraid I'm gonna pull the handle off yanking on it to un-stick the door.

Hell yea those door panels really flex when the door is frozen to the body.
