Hello Folks, I’m currently looking for some Led Lights that give off that whitish/Blue color on EBay for my 2001 Tahoe. Do you mind dropping some links down below from Amazon or EBay.

LED Lights are the worst ever for all others around you. Do me a favor don’t buy them I dislike enough people already. You must have had the pleasure of being blinded by these bulbs. Mercedes tried it (hid) years ago and got rid of them ,now Lexus Is using them. Still annoying Why ? They’re no good in fog, can’t melt ice and snow off lenses if that weather affects you.

Do me a favor and stop telling people what to do, IDK Y random people always come in threads and start talking shit......do we even know you? HID projectors are the best light you can get, think Lexus had them actually......& LEDs can be ok if you do some research. & melt ice & snow, you have no idea where the OP is from......might not have ice & snow...

I was thinking of doing this exact set.... What are folks doing for high beams? Standard bulb or do you know of an LED alternative?

I never installed the high beam bulbs...as you can see I have plenty of lights if need be lol

There is nothing wrong with LED or HID as long as the projector or reflector housing is designed for it. Almost all of your top vehicle manufacturers use led or HID now. GM, Acura, Mercedes, Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Infinity... hell I'm sure Kia and Mitsubishi have them now. But they all designed the reflector or projector around using led or HID.

If you just slap led or HID bulbs into halogen reflectors you will have glare that blinds people. Doesn't matter how you aim them, they will glare. Our body style trucks are horrible about it. It is what it is...

Clearly someone didn’t read my post correctly, I asked to do me a favor not once did I tell anyone what to do. Also stated it was my two cents. Like an opinion, what does it matter if you know me. Correct me if I’m wrong I thought these forum discutions were for all. I’m a little confused that an elite member such as yourself would even respond like that. One other member gave some info, helpful thanks

I second this.

Pretty much any HID bulbs you can find on ebay and amazon are useless for our trucks unless you have a good quality projector system on your truck.
If you put them in the stock reflectors, you are creating nothing but glare.
If you want to upgrade your headlights to something other than halogen, you want LEDs.
But do yourself a favor, and don't buy cheap ones, most of them outright lie about the lumen output, plus, you don't need 4000 lumen low-beams.
Low beams should be no more than 2000 lumen, and that is really pushing it for reflector headlights.

Another thing you want to make sure of, is that they LEDs are designed to replicate the stock filament position so the light comes out of the correct spot in the reflector (this goes for projector headlights as well)

For my Denali projector copies, I am using a set of HIDs that are from @Vanquish Auto. Very good quality, and they are designed to work in the projectors. You don't want to use them in reflectors.
