2007 Yukon XL Denali 6.2L
I noticed some fluid on the ground in the garage where I park. Looked under my truck and noticed fluid all over the front cross member. I put it on ramps and cleaned everything up with few rags and then noticed some fluid leaking from above the front diff. Very hard to tell where it is coming from from below or above. These are the best pics I could snap at the time while trying to get the light right. Any opinions? My fear/thought is the rear main seal but I don't know if that would be the area to see fluid if it was leaking..I also wondered about the differential leaking itself. Not sure. Any input would be appreciated. I am thinking about dropping it off Friday morning at my mechanic and paying the diagnostic fee.
Side note: I sent these pics to my mechanic and they said it could be a coolant leak.....
