Hey all, I am in a rather different situation. I have one (1) key fob that is programmed to operate both of my escalades simultaneously. Is there a way to delete one of the trucks memory for key fobs attached to that vehicle? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum, Drew!! :Handshake:

The easiest way is to just program one of the vehicles with a different key fob. If both vehicles have two fobs, just reprogram one of them again. Reprogramming erases all previously programmed fobs. Good Luck!

Just in case you need the directions -
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIC Operation and Displays (With DIC Buttons):
Relearn Remote Key
This display allows you to match Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters to your vehicle. To match an RKE transmitter to your vehicle, do the following:
1. Press the vehicle information button until PRESS V TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays.
2. Press the set/reset button until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.
3. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the first transmitter at the same time for approximately 15 seconds. A chime will sound indicating that the transmitter is matched.
4. To match additional transmitters at this time, repeat Step 3. Each vehicle can have a maximum of eight transmitters matched to it.
5. To exit the programming mode, you must cycle the key to LOCK.

DIC Operation and Displays (Without DIC Buttons):
Relearn Remote Key
To access this display, the vehicle must be in PARK (P). This display allows you to match Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters to your vehicle. To match an RKE transmitter to your vehicle, do the following:
1. Press the trip odometer reset stem until RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays.
2. Press and hold the trip odometer reset stem for three seconds. The message REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE will display.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If you are programming a vehicle with multiple remotes, all of your remotes (even the ones already programmed) must be programmed under one session. If you don't, all of your current key fobs will no longer be programmed. Once you start the the relearning process, simply program both fobs within a short period of each other, under that same reprogramming. Do not re-start the learning process in between each one.

Hey, thanks a lot freak. I had a buddy give me an old Fob from his Denali he thought he had lost. I called a local GMC dealership and asked about reprogramming it for my Yukon. They told me $120 or more and they couldn't even guarantee it would work afterwards cuz his was a Denali with remote start and I had standard SLT.
Anywho, used your advise and save me a bunch of cash and found out that I've got remote start on my rig!!
Thanks again.

Sweet thanks for the info, just bought an 08 Yukon and it only came with one fob. I will be ordering a new one online now that I know I can program it without paying the dealer.

Got my new remote today and it was really as simple as it sounds. I did manage to lock myself in the vehicle though. It appears that you cannot unlock the doors from inside the vehicle after they have been locked, even if you manually pull the lock up. Felt like the handle was disconnected from the lock. Had to roll down the window and use the outside handle to get out.

If any one is wondering I paid less than $10 for a used one eBay that looks better than my used one amd could almost pass for new. The seller was Allkeyless LLC and they ship super quick.
