Just bought a 5.0C nav disc. Do I just pop it in?

I got the disc #20861673 for my 07 Yukon Denali. Do I just pop it in? I hear it updates the software in the player? Should it be running or just key on. Can I do it in the garage or do I need to be outside?

I also have the Gen 5 lockpick so I will report if there is problems.

I have the Gen6 lockpick and installed 5.0c without any issues. Simply pop in the new cd in the nav opening with the car turned on and let it do its thing. Takes about 5 minutes.

Where did you buy the disc? It should work on my 07 Tahoe

How is the lockpick working with 5.0c? I heard their last version wasn't too friendly with version 4.
