Is $55,000 a reasonable deal for 2016 Tahoe LT 4WD + Luxury package at all?

A Texas dealer quoted me $55,000 for a 2016 Tahoe LT 4WD with luxury package, is that a reasonable deal at all? It's a non-negotiable supplier price for Costco member but I don't think the deal is that sweet at all. I wonder if I should go without using Costco auto program?
What would consider as a reasonable deal for a 2016 Tahoe LT 4WD with luxury package?

Dont really know if I'd call $55k a great deal, but the chevy website "build and price" tool puts an LT 4wd + luxury package at $61k.

Personally if that tahoe was close to what i wanted i'd end up jumping on it. Then realize within 3 months i paid way too much

I just priced this on gm supplier and it comes out to $55,403. This with standards interior and exterior and only with the luxury package. Just know that this month with the Costco supplier discount, you also get a $700 gift card if your an Executive member. I thinks it comes down to what your willin to pay. If you have a gm card with credits that can be used, that makes it much nicer. Hopefully this doesn't make your decision harder.

the only good deal on a vehicle is if yer getting invoice plus hold back
so basically the dealer would not make one thin dime on the sale

so 55k is not great but there not takin you to the cleaners either

If you go to the chevy website they will give a private offer for $1500 don't know if it's still active. You start to build a Tahoe and then a pop up with private offer will show up.

Sounds like you're getting about 10% off MSRP which is a pretty square deal on a 2016. A few months back I picked up a new 2015 Yukon Denali that stickered at nearly $72.6K which I paid $62.4K for. This equates to ~14% off MSRP. That same dealer is selling 2016's for 10-11% off sticker now and they were hands down the best deal I could find.

Will the price go up or down after the holiday or it'll most likely stay flat until 2017 comes out in the late summer?

Tough to say, I'm sure that when 2017 inventory begins to hit dealers there will be discounts on 2016's (similar to how 2015's are discounted now). I honestly don't think you're going to do much better than 10-11% off MSRP on a 2016 until the 2017's are coming out.
