IPAD finally installed

Up next is a custom center console that extends from under the dash to the center where the armrest sits. That whole section will be moved and a new armrest and cup holder section will be built. This is mainly so I can put the audio control sound processor in it.

Did you have to have the holes there since the ipad was so big/heavy? I did a mini and was able to keep everything factory looking...

Naw. Since the iPad was just as wide as the the trim piece almost I had to rid of the tabs and that was my next best option. Did countersink bolts.

Now that I think about it, I lost 2 of my tabs as well. The other tabs kept it in place.

I actually had an aftermarket radio behind mine. You can click on my signature picture to see more. Basically it's like an awesome AUX in, can do XM, Pandora, and all the other online radio apps, plus movies and internet. Just a nice thing to have.
