Installing Rear Husky Mud flaps on 2016 Yukon XL

Preparing to install mud flaps on rear of Yukon and there is an interference lip/tab created by the rock guard seam meeting the quarter panel. Should I cut this lip/tab off or cut a slot in the mud guard?

No interference. Just bolt it right up. I put them on but replaced them with the weathertech rear's since they are about 1/2" wider. but I kept the little clear protector on the truck that Husky provided. I have the husky's on front. I am happy with them.

Maybe you can take a picture. The mounting area should be flat against each other. There should be no trimming required to install. They should bolt right up.

Thanks for the replies. I cut the small tabs off. No big deal.
