Installed Husky Mud Guards on my 2023 Z71. I wanted to let everyone know they kinda suck. Issues:
1. The texture is super cheap looking and doesn't match the texture of car trim (for reference, the husky mud guards on my F-150 match the trip and seem like much higher quality)
2. The PPF strips are useless, the mud guards don't even contact the outer fender where it says to install them, and the strips are too large to fit on the inner edge of the fender around the wheel well to protect the paint where the mud guard actually touches it.
3. The lip of the mud guard actually contacted my wheels when turned about 90%. I have stock sized tires (michelin defenders) and my wheels are OEM size with one small change: the offset is 10mm further out. so the clearance is very tight. I don't recommend these mud guards to anyone with a small clearance or trying any sort of aftermarket setup. See the pictures below for the issue and the trimming I did to fix it.
4. I contacted husky customer service about the PPF issue asking for feedback on where to put it to best protect the paint. over 3 weeks, 0 response.
Anyways hopefully someone else will learn from my experiences. Husky has been hit or miss with products for my tacos and F-150. The mud guards are already trimmed and on now so might as well leave em there unless they cause more issues...
