so last week i purchased a set of pacesetter shorties and a new stock catted y pipe off of rockauto. im not looking for big gains just a more permanent fix for my worn stock manifolds. spent Friday and Saturday stripping the shipping black coating and applying vht header primer and paint. ive already had the driver side off before so i decided to work on the passenger side first.20180623_225510.jpg
ill probably grab some plug wire sleeves tomorrow but im going to do plugs and wires in a couple more weeks anyway. just some added precautions for any weakened plug boots from the stock leaking manifolds.

both sides are on and for the time being i haven't put on my y pipe. decided to wait and just get new o2 sensors instead of fighting with the old ones. sealed right up to the original y pipe with the help of a ratchet strap to pull the passenger side into place.

Yup, doing the O2 sensors with the exhaust out of the truck is easier for sure
