Identify Factory Stereo System-Need help

I have been reading through the factory high pass crossover bypass thread and instead of resurrecting an old thread I thought I'd just ask a new question here.

1. How can I tell what stereo system I have in my truck?
2. Can I do the high pass crossover bypass to my truck? I read that it is only for trucks with the premium sound system.
