I like to leave the factory head units in my vehicles just because they look correct. I used to install car stereos and have had all types of boom in the trunk but I don't mess with that anymore. The '05 I just picked up has the factory 6 Disc head unit with the Bose speaker setup and it actually sounds great. I'd like to install a bluetooth media bypass but cannot do it like my old truck.
Here's what I used to have with my '01 CD/Cassette setup;
Milennia MIL-BTREC Bluetooth Dongle

PAC Aux Audio Input for GM

Basically the PAC adapter ran through the tape deck wiring and was switchable from 2 inputs or the actual cassette deck. I had one input setup with an AUX cord and the other with the MIL BTREC bluetooth dongle. The setup functioned well and sounded great too, but I always left it on bluetooth as I use Spotify.
I've looked around and haven't found a connector or adapter I'm happy with, any ideas would be helpful!!
Thanks, Brian
