I am looking around at 2001-2006 Yukons/Denalis.I probably will go with a Denali,I like the looks and in the long run I will probably save some cash cuz I won't have to do a lot of exterior mods (I guess).

But what a Dumbass I am.
What color should it be?

My first instinct was silver. But from looking on the road,it looks boring.Maybe the Denali silver is not silver enough or something.

(my apologies for not knowing all those *** creative color names...f@ck it,man)

The second thought is black, how can you go wrong? But I go through stretches of intense lazy-ass behavior.Got to stay after black, right?

Ok,so there is white, right? I guess it can be cool...especially if you work for a Chinese laundry.

Blue? Forget it.I had a blue truck once, that I got for free. The blue made me sad and angry at the same time.No more pills for me.

Green? Only appropriate if you own Jose's Lawn Service if you ask me.

Red.Now this is tough.I have owned several red trucks.I like them,I guess. But I don't know about it on a Denali. It stands out,and jeez,it is the logo for this site. But red is just, like,so red.Always in your face.It never chills out.I don't know about red.

Other thing I can't forget is,I am looking for a 10 year old truck, not like I am ordering it or looking on a lot with a hundred of them.Have I missed any colors here? These are the ones I can think of now.I know that I am going with chrome/aluminum wheels on 20s.I have a set of 2009 LTZ five spokes with 50 miles on them I might use (just more proof I am a dumb-ass,who buys wheels 2 years before they get the truck?)

So,please guys, help me out with figuring out this color thing.I desperately want some happiness in my life.Place a vote, thanks.

Seriously though what color of vehicle do you think looks best? Decide that and look for one in that color then when you cannot find one that in your price range just buy whatever color is :imo:

Don't forget pewter. I like black trucks because they look great with chrome wheels but they get dirty quick and show swirl marks the best. White is kinda boring but also looks good with nice wheels. I actually like the silver denalis. Very clean and neutral, imo. In the end, get what color YOU think looks best. But not blue because it makes you angry and we wouldn't like you when you're angry.

Voted white, but I'm biased. I think it does tend to stay cleaner-looking longer than other colors, plus if you debadge/demold/clear corners/etc, it looks really clean and minimalist. I like it.

@Chauncey,is that what the silver is called,Pewter? Is there anything else beside that?

@Surfer,yes I would say a de-badging would be first thing. Not sure if there is much to de-mold on a Denali, the applied body styling has to stay, right?

@Yates,cool.Got an RPO for that?

And thanks everyone for not trying to talk me into, or out of, Red.

the molding I'm talking about is the stuff on the lower half of the doors. I don't have a denali, so it might be different than a regular yukon, but I would think you'd be able to take off any stuff stuck to the side of the door.

and as for red, I had a red Wrangler for 10 years, so I know what you mean. its just always really, in your face red. I was kind of happy to go white after having red for so long.

Pewter is the color of mine in sig pic. Like a champagne color, if you wil. Like stated above, there is a silver birch color that is actually silver.

White. Yes I am biased right now but I have had the beige, forest green, black, blue, silver birch, and now Summit White. White has been my favorite for sure!

I found that on Google images and it is most definitely not mine. I remember seeing them around here back in the day.

I'm really partial to silver/pewter. I also like how the Denali looks in white. If kept clean, looks very sharp. My '06 is the blue that changes color and I love it. Really stands out when dressed.
