how to protect your rig from salt damage??

Here is a still picture of the video i took of scraping my fingernail on the frame down to bare metal. I just dont get the thought process on this crap. It clearly dosnt work…my wifes denali after 6 years proved that to me. You can already see a little bit of weak coverage on the left side of those two frame holes. This is a brand new truck!
