My CCM kit will be here by Thursday. I have called several shops around the Dallas area for installation quotes w/ alignment. One gave me $330 and another $450. For a 2.5F/1"R on a 2wd Suburban, this seems a bit steep, but maybe I'm wrong?

Do either of these include an alignment? Does the kit say how many hours it takes to install? $330 is probably a fair price if it includes an alignment.

I guess it's just me and I have access to the tools and lift, but I wouldn't pay someone to do it. I paid a little over $100 for an alignment and space to do the lift. That's just my .02 worth.

I got around the same quotes when looking for a place to do my leveling kit. I ended up going with a mobile mechanic I found on CL to do it for around 120 iirc. He did a great job and right after he was done I got it aligned at a shop.

If you have any wrenching skills at all, it's pretty straight forward.

$330 isn't a bad price if it comes with an alignment. Might do a little more shopping though.

Thanks for the input guys. I haven't had it done yet. I've called several places in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. $330 WITH an alignment is the best I've found. I have the mechanical knowledge to do the job, but being that my space is limited in a parking garage at my apartment, I don't really have the "shop" to do it in. CCM says it takes 2 hours. I'll be sure to post some pics when it's complete.

After alignment I paid a little over 200 I think. It took the mechanic I hired well over two hours though. I know some people say they got it done quicker then that but I guess it all depends on your skill level.
