So the g/f and I are taking the dogs up to Maine on Sunday to her folks' place. 4 dogs, need as much room inside as possible, so the plan was to put our cooler (anytime we go visit out of state relatives, we have to bring stuff like bagels, pork roll, Tasteecakes, etc) on the Hitch Hauler. For those who don't know what that is, a quick Google will help ya.

Problem here is the cooler blocks the rear license plate. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I not worry about it? Should I take the plate off and mount it to the hauler? Kinda looking for first-hand experience here if anyone has any.

Thanks!

I personally wouldn't worry about it. You didn't design the hauler, just are using it. If an officer says something about it (which I personally doubt they would) then you can relocate it at that time.

We have one... We use it on the Escalade and my wifes pathfinder. We've never been pulled over and so now I never worry about it.
