I have a 97 Yukon with 3.73 gears. and 33" tires. The carrier bearings decided to let go and I want to re-gear while I am in there. The 3.73's and 33" tires runs just under 1600 RPM at 60 mph and it seems to lug at the RPM.

I want to replace the G-bomb posi. I am thinking of replacing it with an Eaton posi
19559-010. What are your thoughts? I rarely go off road, except on the beach.

This is my work truck and I drive 30-50 miles hwy and about the 15-25 miles city every day. What highway RPM will give me the best fuel mileage?

unknown at this time.
doing 4.10 gears will counter act the 33 tires from the oem 245/75/16 and it will actually run about 100-150 faster engine rpm. that is basically return to stock engine to tire rpm ratios.

Thanks for the response. I was torn between the 4.10 and 4.30 since I carry 600 pounds of tools and my 300 pound ***.
