The tailgate light is there the car is in park "thanks to the switch". I really dont know much about the swutch didnt do it. I know you have to find a fuse that controls the back up lights and run a wire from under the hood to switch. It took them an hour to do that part after they killed the battery. One of the lights you have to have the truck one to charge it. Here is the number of the guy that did it. It's called I Got The Hook Up and his name is Richard Finley 281-948-4779. Sorry I dont know that much more.

No I was talking about people tailgateing you. No tailgate light when you flip the switch and blind them.

Oh, thats why I wanted the switch. Last night when I went to get some food, the road was all backed up (traffic cause of the mall) and I was sitting at this light and some lady behind me was honking at me so she got blasted. You should have seen her face, I almost pissed my pants. I love my reverse lights..

Wait wait wait, so you have actual HID Bulbs in there?! Those aren't LEDs???... What size HID bulb did he put in there? Where did he put the ballast?

+1, I wonder if I would need to do any trimming. This sounds like a really cool mod. Might have to go get some fuse extenders and do this and the crank shut off switch too!

There is a great write up on this somewhere on here.. apparently you have to trim one of the ears off of the bulb. .but other than that it goes right in..
there is ALOT more room than you think behind the taillight... the ballasts fit in there... or directly under them..

I think my bubls a are the same as the fogs but not sure. They are siliconed in. The ballast fits behind the bumper. They are 6K's to match everything else. Here are some pictures.

lol,,,,,,,,,yeah, 6k hid color is amazing... very bright white color with a slight blue tint....i got vvme H11 6k HID for my low beam and 9005 5k HID for high beam...
