HID fogs ballast location

I just ordered some HID's for my fogs on my 05 denali. Where have you guys mounted your fog ballasts? pics would be nice. Thanks guys

I don't have pics, but I just zip-tied them up as far as they would reach onto the frame/radiator bracket...whatever was metal, solid, and available. It's not hard, and it doesn't have to be perfect, you just want them up and keeping the wiring out of the way of things that move.

Mine are tucked behind the bumper lights, will post pic later tonite.

i mounted my ballast right on top of the fog light bracket

I mouted mine up against the Bumper Support brackets, using zip ties. Works well and keeps them dry.

Mine are mounted right behind the parking/turn signal lamps. The wire from the ballast is just barely long enough to reach down to the foglight.
I found a picture of mine.

And here is a picture from the bottom behind the foglight. It shows how the wire runs up to the ballast.

Ballast Location

I mounted my fog light ballasts on my fan shroud, with SHORT self tapping screws. ( You MUST use short screws as you do not want to puncture the Rad!) This has worked excellent for me, they have remained dry and are as tight as the day i mounted them.
