Help needed before ordering parts!

Hello everybody, to keep things short and simple, before i let my truck(2002 Yukon sle) sit i would hear this clanking noise ONLY on the right side, whether id be turning right, going up a small bump, i hear these clanking/clicks, my best bet solely of YouTube would be it being the Balljoints, anyways below is everything im going to order to try and eliminate that click.

2x Sway Bar Link, GM GENUINE 10385580

Sway Bar Bushing, MOOG K201176

FRL, FLL Control Arms. MOOG CK620380, MOOG CK620381

2x FU Standard Bushing w/ Ball Joints.

i know some parts arent exactly needed but does anybody have any suggestions on anything that could be better or added?

Is this a 2wd or 4x4?

I don't think ball joints make clicking noises but CV joints (on 4x4 models) do.

You can check ball joints by lifting the front end and shaking the wheel at 6 and 12 o'clock. You'll get some movement and slop if ball joints are worn out.

That list looks good though. I would recommend you go ahead and consider replacing tie rods while you are there. You'll need an alignment for that anyways, so might as well get replaced all together.

2wd. Im not too sure what the culprit may exactly be, ill update this post once i have the suspension done, and thank you! Will be adding the tie rods

How many miles on your truck?

I did a complete suspension/steering rack job on my 99 Silverado 2wd. Everything was original except for the shocks. I think it had like 270k. The ball joints had plenty of slop when I checked them.

After another 15k, the hub/bearings were done, so I replaced those this last summer. I was planning on doing the 2019 front brake upgrade, so I took the opportunity to do that while I was there.

I would check the wheel hub/bearings. Try moving the flange where the rotor seats. There should be no significant play or slop. Mine had a lot of play.

I would suggest having a competent shop do an inspection; someone who is familiar with testing the components. The noise could simply be sway bar links, and you're getting ready to throw a bunch of $$ at it without knowing what's really needed.

so go to the most expensive place for the estimate, then get your parts (cheaper), then find a shop that will install your parts. or diy

Gosh the 2019 front brake is such a dream, definitely something id love to do on my truck.
My truck has 157K miles. Ive had it since i was 17 im turning 20 in a few months, and i abused it. Back then i had no idea what a rear axle even was, i just knew it loved the dirt, and yeah i went through two different axles. With my current rear axle being from a Yukon XL, same gears and everything 3.73,, but im not a 100% sure the dimensions are the exact same as a non XL rear axle. Anyways,
New Wheel Hub Bearings , Brake Pads (front) 155000 275$
Engine Bay Cleaned;
New Water Pump 157000 210$

New Motor Filter 157000 15$
New Air Filter 15

157500.. AC Pulley was squeeling, fixed it for like 30$
currently down w a flat

Thankfully my uncle will do the job for free! Well thats what he agreed on when he was drunk lol.. he's changed my rear axle entirely aswell.

Thats what i was told by my unc, i kinda do wanna just change the front end since i abused it back then. I've learned to appreciate it for what it is and want to baby it up to 300k+ miles, im only half way there. i baby tf out of it, and have huge plans cosmetically. I get what you mean but i wont pull the trigger entirely yet until i ride it one more time with him and have him hear the noise and check out what has the play. I've never really paid for a shop, i think thats why im willing to throw so much in at once lol

Thinking about it now, i think motor mounts are definitely worn, if im not sure if thats whats making the clanking noise when i go uphill or lil bumps, but my truck does make a thud when i shift into REVERSE. Before i put her to sit it did thud upon the slightest acceleration, gosh it rlly is the motor mounts, thats a shop kinda job no? I heard motor mounts r rlly tedious to replace.
