Hello from Toledo, Ohio area

Hi everyone. My name is Josh I’m a father of 4 children from Sylvania, Ohio. I have been modifying cars, trucks, dirt bikes, sport bikes, etc.. since i was 16 years old. I currently do not have any fun project vehicles so I’ve been slowly modifying my daily family hauler a 2010 Yukon Denali XL. I have already rebuilt the top end of the motor with aftermarket goodies including a BTR camshaft, deleted the AFM DOD crap completely, long tube headers with full exhaust and tuned it with HP tuners software. Plans for it this spring/summer are to drop it and make some more minor engine mods to clean up the engine bay area. I do have aspirations to turbo this application in the future as well. I hope to learn from and help educate others in this forum. I wouldn’t mind making a few friends along the way either! Motor-heads gotta stick together. Looks like I need to take some good pics of my Yukon once the weather turns nice again.

Funny you ask, I actually have had it at the drag strip this past summer. Got 1 run in and it went 14.9 @ 94 mph

We can calculate rear wheel horsepower if you know the race weight from that run. My bone stock 6.2 Sierra has run a best of 14.82 @ 93.9 mph.

Our track closes when it gets too cold out. So getting up there has been an exercise in frustration lately. We keep trying every Wednesday and Friday!

My 2009 Yukon XL with a 5.3 has run a best of 16.23 @ 87 mph @ 6,380 pounds race weight (325 RWHP). I ain't no lightweight! A regular or skinny guy driving would get better times! LOL

Wight would be around 6200 lbs
