Hello from the sprawling burb of Aurora, IL!

I bought my first Tahoe several weeks ago (09 Hybrid - Black!) and have been reading everything I can find for this Hybrid (and Tahoe's in general). I've been all over this site for the past 2 days and realized I better join up!

I'm really enjoying this truck more than I thought I would and look forward to many years of prideful ownership to come. The wife is hollering at me for keeping the thing so clean all the time (you're going to wash the paint off of it!). She just doesn't understand .....

My wife's uncle lives in North Aurora, we had a blast visiting... I wish we had three story houses in Texas where the first floor is underground and accessible from inside the ground floor. Welcome to the forum!

I get **** about a few things - this is one of them. I mean come on! It's new, it's expensive and that
black takes a a lot of TLC!

Now I am cringing inside because she is stealing it for the weekend to take camping with the Boy
Scouts out to Starved Rock Stte Park and I am afraid just how dirty it's going to get with 4 boys
scouts inside it on a drizzly weekend ....

I'm going to try and cut down on the dirty wet crap in the truck (other
than the boys ) by slapping on my external carbo box oin the back.
It's a Stowaway2 swingout carrier that sits on the hitch.

I've had this a few years and used it with by Trailblazer when we went
out west to Glacier and Yellowstone. They didn't offer the Max model
back then otherwise I would of bagged that one instead!
