Good morning all. Hope someone can help me out with this new issue Im having with my truck. So my oe radio crapped out on friday, and decided to install an aftermarket DD, headrest tv's for the kiddies, amp, rear camera, and 8" sub in stock location(just wanted a little more boom). Got my harness gmos4(truck has bose), and put everything in. Pain in the ass getting all the wiring hidden and behind the radio, just to pull everything out and cut the bracket back there. Anyways got everything working, sub sounds decent for an 8, tv's work(kids excited), radio works fine. Here is my issue,when i got my remote start put on a couple months ago, my 4x4 switch(lights only) stopped working. After installing the radio, the 4x4 switch works fine, but now the heater lights dont work. Cant see the controls at night. I know i didnt mess with any wires behind the climate controls, and double checked when i cut the bracket off. I know the gmos harness has a illumination wire, but the radio doesnt.Am i suppose to connect that some where? Heater works fine, it just bugs me i dont have lights there.
