After deveral days of rain, my GPS, via Google maps, could not accurately find my location and intermittently displayed "searching for GPS signal".

This has happened twice and both times later corrected itself. I tried rebooting to no avail.

I have read about water leakage into the antenna, but my Sirius and compass remained functional. The dash speed limit indicator reflected the erroneous location.

Any experience with this out there? I hate to go to the dealer, who likely won't consider the issue until the vehicle is in, and then it won't recreate the problem.

Likely your OnStar module has failed. Search this forum - it’s happened more than once.

Have you completely rebooted the unit by holding down the call end button with the system on but the vehicle parked? Both times prior to the new 171 release this fixed it for me (hasn't happened since).
