i have a friend with a 97 silverado with a lock on his . never really asked but it looks stock. ill ask him where he got it since they are the same

did they make a lock for the normal consoles by chance?

have not found one. I should research again to so if modification is possible.

come to think of it it would be nice ill ask him tommorow where he got it and get back to you guys as for the center console ive never seen one either

i asked my friend charlie about the lock he said it came with the truck when he bought it (used) i asked him if he could find a brand or any name or identification marks on the key or housing he will get back with me

i was looking for a locking center console and couldnt find a factory one so i bought one from walmart called the clutter catcher it looks nice in my hoe it locks and sliding cover on it ill post pics tomarrow if u guys wanna c
