When replacing my fuel filter on my 2004 Tahoe LT, the existing black plastic fuel filter bracket cracked. Not surprising considering the age and how plastic becomes brittle, but I am having a lot of difficulty locating the GM part number from the drawings available. It's illustrated with an item number, but the item number and GM part number are not listed in the bill of materials.

Doe anyone know what the GM part number is or at least, where I can find a replacement?

I searched all over for that damn thing and came up empty. I would call a dealer and see if they can charge you $50 for that little piece of plastic.

I did find other options on summit though, Summit has always been very helpful when i had to call them and maybe they have something that will work. Like this one i found.

Appreciate the help! I was going crazy trying to find this part too. I'll give Summit a call tomorrow. I like the swing-bolt design better and less plastic crap is always a plus.

If that option doesn't work, I suppose I'll have to get one from a salvage yard, but it will likely be brittle like mine was.

PART IS NOT SERVICEABLE, PART OF THE RETURN LINES. BEST BET IS A SALVAGE YARD.
