Hey All. New to the forum. Use my 00 denali mostly for snowplowing. Winter sucked in Chicago for snow this year but....... Any suggestions on how to stiffen the front suspension to accommodate the weight of the plow ?

Bigger Torsion bars (expensive and difficult)
or
Bigger and tougher Bumpstops (Timken Brand makes some specifically for heavy applications)
or
Coilover Conversion with heavy duty springs (Expensive and Difficult)

Cheapest and Simplest option is Timbren (I incorrectly called it Timken before) heavy duty bumpstops. Shouldn't harsh the ride, but should keep it from sagging.

Have to cranked up the keys to compensate for the plow? Costs nothing.

This is the one advantage to torsion bar sprung front ends.

Better save your money for rebuilding the transmission too. The 1/2 chassis along with the 4L60E is just not a chassis/transmission made for plowing snow. The transmission will live a short life.
