This is why you should remove them and check in behind. Put them back on if you want but pull them off and check.

This next picture is why i pulled the flares off. It was showing a rust bubble at the top edge. I then found the bottom corner was flaked off so i decided to check the rest.

I like the looks of them off.

BTW i still miss my burb. Sorry if i upset some for posting a pickup on here but i still feel a connection from my burb and wanted to warn of the posibilities.

Front frnder is toast. Rotten completly through. I am patching it up for now but will end up replacing the fender when i can afford one. Yes i live in southern ontario which is parallel to northern california. There are a few states farther north than I. Yes salt on the roads will have affected this.
