My 2023 Suburban has about 41,000 miles. Absolutely no problems. Today I looked down and the check engine light is on. All the gauges are in the good zone and diesel running fine. I don't have a reader so will call the dealer, Monday.

Thanks! I used to have the plug in Fixd devise but forgot that it was in my old suburban when I traded it. The unit you posted looks good. I will likely get it to the garage, tomorrow but will order one to have on hand.

Most likely an emissions issue. It never hurts to have a code reader around. You can buy cheap ones. But I found it's worth having one that's a bidirectional one, so you can also cancel codes at home if you have fixed the problem yourself. Anytime you have to visit the dealer, it's just a pain and they usually want to try to jack you around and do more work than necessary.
