So time is moving fast! We got the Denali in late March, and here are my initial thoughts.

Still very impressed with the ride quality considering it has the ridiculous 24s.
The overall exterior is very well lined up, no odd panel gaps, paint is almost flawless.
The interior is a nice upgrade of our 21' and the leather on the front seats is pretty damn good.
The truck has not left us stranded, so that in itself is a huge upgrade of the Grand Wagoneer. And generally, most things always work, with the exception of the park assist.

A few things that have been less impressive
The park assist is constantly failing; it will just randomly go off, and then it will start working. Always a different message. Most of the time it will just say unavailable.
The setting for the drowsy driver alert is constantly turning itself back on, I have had to turn it off multiple times. I'm not sure why it keeps coming back on. It is very annoying, both my wife and I wear glasses and it just can't see our eyes very well and just goes nuts.
Brings me to the next thing, the Super Cruise, when it works, its pretty good, other than highways with curves(seems to not see vehicles directly in front), it is a very solid system. However, I have to wear my contacts and cannot wear my polarized sunglasses; the system struggles to see me. So most of the time I am just using Adaptive cruise control.

A few minor nitpicks: the driver's seatbelt always gets stuck between the B pillar and the seat, very annoying but our 21' did the same thing, so I ahve finally gotten used to it.
The Android-based radio software is buggy and will randomly lose functions. One time, the heated seats would not work until I turned off the truck and restarted it.
The Bose sound system is meh. My Ram with a base Alpine system is wildly better, and that truck cost less than half of the Denali:p the Ram also has much better carpet than these Yukons.

Overall, we are very happy with it, hoping I can get the dealer to look at the Park Assist and Homelink, but neither are worth a special trip, so I will wait till I do the second oil change.

The LF seatbelt always gets caught between the seat and B-pillar trim on my Tahoe. Poor design - and frustrating every time I get in the truck and buckle-up.

The seatbelt on the right rear (third row) always gets stuck between the seat and rear panel trim when the seat is power-folded upright. Another poor design.

The front passenger tahoe always gets stuck perpendicular to the B pillar and the seat, then rattles. Once i unwedge it the rattling stops.

Very annoying

Mine does that too. A vibration pad applied to the interior trim piece would stop the rattling. I can’t believe GM missed these issues with all their testing?

My EPB is totally random, no faults reported by the truck, however. I park in my driveway, which is angled up into the garage, in the same place everytime and the EPB sometimes sets and sometimes doesn't. I'm old so I miss handbrakes and foot pedal parking brakes. I am still capable of applying and don't need the aggravation of a random EPB. Sometimes, the future isn't all it's cracked up to be.

1. 'miss' has more than one definition. Rest assured, the next generation will MISS those things too, entirely and completely -
most of them won't even know what they're missing, which adds to the 'missing'.
2. Sometimes?

I sure don't "miss" manual e-brakes/ parking brakes that would not release once the cables corroded.

I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali Ultimate and had a 2023. Both have the passenger seat belt rattle when the wife gets out without straightening the buckle. She mostly remembers to straighten it.

I've had Supercruise in both and both flawless. I won't buy a new GM product without it. I only use it on the interstates even though there are many surface roads that has it available, I don't use cruise control on them.

I'll be ordering a 2027 Yukon Denali Ultimate later this month.

The only thing I notice about our 25/26 model year trucks with the auto on/off parking brake is the way it releases.

When you put the vehicle in Drive its supposed to release automatically but it seems the software is slow and often I need to give some light throttle and then suddenly I get a stiff release of the Parking Brake. The software should be more intuitive like if it sees driver pressure on the brake pedal and the vehicle is shifted into Drive it should auto release not wait for throttle.

Just drove my 2026 Tahoe from NJ shore to Chicago with 7 people and luggage in a Thule. Was comfortable and loved it. No complaints at all on one with 9000 miles now!

I can’t even nit pick anything yet. There are plenty of charging ports as well.

Well actually one small complaint is that the truck doesn’t jave a 12 volt cig adapter port for my radar detector. Had to get an adapter to plug it into the usb-c which kinda sucks.

I’m going to do the mirror tap soon though so it will be a non-issue.

Was cruising around 90mph the whole way I have to check the mpg. I think it was around 17 still.

I learned to drive in 1974. I might have needed and used a parking brake twice before my 2025 Tahoe. Including the time we owned a manual Chrisler Horizon Mizer.

Wow, that’s good news to hear. I got my oil changed at 1350 miles just to get factory gunk out of the engine. I noticed a slight improvement driving on the highway as my mileage increased from 17.3 to 18.6 I also noticed a slightly smoother sound after I crank it. Thing is I don’t drive mines daily but I do drive 4-5 times per week. I saw on a FB forum that this guy had a 2025 Yukon who changed his oil religiously for the first year with the 0-20w along with having the Range and his numbers actually stayed the same and he had no mechanical issue. Can’t remember what mileage he’s at now, but it was over 10k. So I’m doing that. For the Range DFM make sure you unhook the negative on the batt first before plugging anything in. Also get the Range Model RA0007. Then follow the steps backwards after hooking it all up.

Interesting comment on the 24"s. My local dealer has a 26 Tahoe with 24"s on the lot. They are actually a turn off for me. The 20' and 22" look and run perfectly with these rigs. Hey GM, No one wants 24" rims.
