So, as most senior members know, i've been here for quite sometime and have built some rides ranging from OBS to NBS. I have finally decided to pull the trigger on a NNBS and went with a One-Owner 2007 Suburban Z71 with the 3LT Interior package as I have 2 Kiddos and the Escalade wasn't cutting it for space, Football, etc. The 'Burb is in mint condition and was very well cared for including a very recent rebuilt LC9 Vortec 5300 as well as a rebuilt 4L60E including the Transfer-case.

The 'Burb has practically every option you can think of for the Z71 which was a score for me. I am unsure currently as to the direction I am going to go with this one. I have seen a lot of configurations that I feel in love with and having a hard time narrowing it down.

Anyways... Here a few pictures of Project "Rosie"

I'll be starting a build thread as soon as I finally decide what route i'm going to take her

....and to respond to your thread I'd normally vote lowered but IMO would look od with those OEM fender flares. So I'd either put a leveling kit on the front or put a moderate lift kit on it. just my two cents :)

Thanks Jake! Yeah, I was thinking it would look odd to lowered with the fender flares and being a Z71 on top of it all. Im really settling for leveled with some nice All-Terrains. I just ordered the SLP Resonator delete kit and picking her up soon from the tint shop

Sounds like a nice idea to me. I know that the Avy that @felixgun used to have looked awesome leveled with an AT tire.

I Love how this Tahoe is setup, I very well may do the same with a few other touches to the Burb.

Nice find! Yup, with the look and feel of your ride, I would level it or do a modest lift but not lower it.

Enjoy, and keep us posted!

That Tahoe does look good the way its set up. Not sure if you would consider this a moderate lift, but if it were me I'd put a 4 inch Fabtech or 4 inch Rancho lift on it, with 20x10's and 33 inch Toyo RT's or Nitto Exo Grapplers. Just my 2 cents tho, since you do have a family, 4 inches may still be too high haha

Good looking Z71. Be nice to see what you do with it.
