Finally got my new 26 Yukon Elevation rolling.

Ordered a 2026 GMC Yukon XL Elevation with Supercruise and Tow package. Received around mid December. We had a "service brake assist" warning every single time we start the vehicle. You could click it away. The dealer brought it in mid January and thought it was a simple fix. No sir. Every fix resulted in more codes. At one point she registered over 60 codes. The tech service at GM put a hold on the vehicle. Not sure what that means. Nut anyways, back on the road! My loaner was a 24 Yukon XL Denali Ultimate. I wasn't crying too much.

Due to the length of time in the shop, you have probably qualified for a lemon-law repurchase from GM.

I would not want a new vehicle that takes the dealer more than 30 days to fix (if they do fix it).

I’m just off a buyback for a 26 Traverse RS that worked out well for me. Ordered the Yukon while we wrapped up the Traverse.

You know, not a big difference. I like the air ride on the ultimate. My 26 has the giant screen which I have grown to like. I would say save the 30k and enjoy an Elevation. That was my logic. The elevation is very smooth, quite luxurious. Love the 5.3

Yes, I am happy. The "service brake assist" issue was unfortunate. My dealer took great care of me. I am back on the road enjoying the XL.
