Just picked up a 2dr 95 Yukon that appears to be an appropriate place to throw money away. Got a pretty good deal as she's in need of a transmission and a good 20 footer body-wise, but already has 6 inches of ProComp lift and 37x12.50's (hence the need for a transmission at 149k... haha). Preliminary plans are a shackle flip to get rid of the stupid blocks in the rear and downsize to 35's. Currently at a buddy's shop gettin a used 4L60E swapped in because I'm gettin too old to be laying on cold concrete with 34° winds blowing in Independence KY, er, uh, I mean cuz I don't have a tranny jack. Yeah, that's why...

Not a total dumpster fire, but not a show rig by any means either. The usual "GM plastic interior" woes. Cracked dash, bezel is fairly jacked up, door panels need a little attention. Seats and carpet are pretty good though.

Yes, welcome to the forum. When I moved to Oregon 23 years ago, from KC, Mo. north of the river, I had a brand new 96 2 door Tahoe that was all white. I miss that rig and wish I had it to this day. I sold my 1990 Harley Fatboy, yes the first year that was all silver, and I still kick my own ass for selling it too. When will I learn...............

Welcome to the 2-doors. Mine's a '95 Tahoe, bought it about 18 months ago. It's 'bout as stock as they get.

Appreciate all the welcomes. Hope I'll be able to contribute some knowledge, not just my sarcasm and humor from decades of busted knuckles. I've had more vehicles than I can even remember and never been able to afford paying someone else to fix 'em when the inevitable happened...
