Curious if anyone here has added any sensors to their factory alarm
GM offers both a shock sensor add on and a "tilt" sensor for wheel theft, 17800431 & 22962506 respectively. Can a tilt sensor from Directed be fit to a stock alarm? I'm more interested in that sensor as Id like to put my 375's back on when I do my 2/3 drop this spring
I am not a fan of aftermarket alarms any more. My truck was stolen for it's wheels, alarm pieces laying on the ground where the truck was. It's almost as if that $100 passlock interface to make it work with a GM vehicle made it easier to steel
to add insult to injury, it was a top of the line Viper alarm, added the tilt sensor for the wheels. And then they denied their protection plan coverage because the authorized big name dealer failed to write "starter kill installed" on the reciept
