On my 99 'kon, I have a Flowmaster 50 series, 2-in-2-out with 2.5" pipe exiting either side. The sound is wonderful outside, but there is a resonation under load that is getting on my nerves. What can I do short of a new muffler to stop this resonation? It gives me headaches if I have to stay under 70 (2000 rpm) and is actually becoming a detriment to the truck.

Thanks for your help! :)

Just out of curiosity, do our trucks come with resonators in the stock exhaust? Mine is factory until the muffler, then it's aftermarket. I know many new vehicles have resonators in them, but I'm not sure about mine. If I have one, would deleting it make it better or worse?
