Drivers Rear Brake and Turnsignal Not Working

Hey guys,

On my 2000 Limited, my rear drivers side, the rear brake light and turn signal stopped working.

I knew it was the turnsignal for sure, started flashing fast on the dash, was able to check that pretty easy. Put a new bulb in for the turnsignal, and found the brake not working. But a new bulb in for that also.

The reverse light and the running light work, but not the turnsignal. The turnsignal bulb looked a little burnt, as did the circuit board. Brake light didn't look bad at all. Is this just an issue of the board going bad?

I will do a check with my DMM tomorrow. Was getting dark tonight.

Just a follow up. I went out and connected the passenger side to the driver's side and all worked . So I bought a new circuit board, put the light in it and all was fine. Problem solved.
