Ok well I'm new to this page, so first let me introduce myself. My name is Charlie, live in the dumb ass state of Maryland , I drive a 2004 Yukon Denali. My question is that my driver seat moves forward, back and the back works fine.. But I can't not adjust the "ass" of the seat up or down.. Just want to know if anybody had a fix for this besides buying a new $600+ motor or if anybody just happens to have one for sale cheaper : ) Thanks in advance, Charlie

Funny as I bought a 2005 Yukon XL/SLT from the Dealer and the seat was as you described. Got them to replace the seat motor (or maybe the switch) before I took delivery.

I had the same issue with my 04 Esky. Removed the 4 bolts and leaned the seat back and the gear/metal rod weren't moving. gave it a little twist with pliers, and it started working. never had another issue...

I just bought mine also.. Anybody think it could just be the switch?

I think it could very well be the switch. I'd take the switch cover off and test the switch.

Mine is doing the same thing. I need to try what NathanJax has done because my switch works just fine.
