does the 4.8l CAI fit the 5.3l

I found a used intake from a yukon 4.8L and before i buy it i wanted to make sure it was going to fit my truck, i have the 5.3L

I like it a lot. I will let you know that if you do get this setup, be sure you have seated every connection nice and tight. Be careful with your install and you wont be a negative poster on this product.

yea, the only problem i've had is at the filter, it likes to come undone every once in a while... I've had that setup for about a year now

I probably should clarify. It's a Volant intake for an HD, but I wondered if it would fit on my Tahoe.

The 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0 are all going to use part number 15153, the 8.1 uses part number 15981

Well if the Volant intake is universal among the 4.8,5.3,6.0, you can assume any intake could be.

The only difference between the 15053 and the 15153 is the 15153 includes a new throttle body grommet. All of the 15053 are 15153's now
