thanks. somebody else mentioned that on my facebook that the hole was for adjusting something on a fwd car. ok I will toss it

From my FB: Phil DeFiglio Looks more like part of an inner fender liner for a front wheel drive car.... the star section in the middle is usually there for access to the harmonic balancer bolt for valve adjustments and other service related stuff
