Ok guys, just got an 03 denali and looking to do some exterior mods. Everything on the vehicle is stock except the wheels which are 22s. I would like to change the headlights to projector headlights, install HIDs on the low beam and fog lights, removal of the tow hooks and new upper and lower grille, and lower/level it out. Looking for any advice on where to go to get the parts, which brand(s) to look into, what not to do, or any problems i could run into while installing or in the future from the mods. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

If its a Denali it should already have projector headlights. For the suspension pieces you should talk to Tony here on the forum. His handle is Norcal SS. You can find him in the Street Suspension section. I haven't gotten anything from him but I've heard nothing but good things about him. Knowledgeable when it comes to finding out what you want and giving you the best way to go about it. I'll be going to him when I'm ready to embark on a 2/3 drop. As far as the HID's go, I think you'll need to do the 4 or 6 hi mod, otherwise you'll have issues when you go from HID lows and fogs to halogen hi (i.e. when you flash someone or go hi beams on a back road) Good luck and congrats on the new ride.

What do you mean by 4 or 6 hi mod? As for the headlights I want to get the angel eye LEDs not just projector and also some clear bumper lights. Also I've looked several places but have yet to find anywhere that offers aftermarket headlights with clear corners. Any suggestions on where to look or is that something that I would have to do myself?

4-hi mod = Low's & high's on at the same time.

6-hi mod = Low's, high's, & fog's on at the same time.

As for aftermarket clear headlights, a lot of people have found quality ones on eBay. It's more of a first come first serve. To my knowledge, the Denali projectors are a ***** to clear yourself.

How hard would it be to open up the headlight and remove the amber lense yourself? And how do I go about doing the 4-hi or 6-hi mod?

You don't see people selling headlights with clear corners because it's illegal. There has to be some amber in there.

The 4- or 6-high mod is the easiest, cheapest mod you will ever do. Follow the instructions and it should take about 2 minutes and about $2.

That is not correct. Every state is different.

Here is California's law:

"24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear."
