I tow a travel charger with my Yukon and I just installed a LifePo4 battery in the trailer.
It seems that there are devices that will increase the voltage that is supplied to the trailer battery so that the LifoPo gets charged using the preferred charge voltage.
Victron Energy has an "Orion" charger that I am interested in and this unit is appealing because my other gear in the trailer is the Victron stuff.
Has anyone installed the Victron Orion in their rig?
If so how did you wire it?
Did you increase the wire gauge that runs from the alternator to the trailer?
Any feedback/ experience/ suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
