Going to try and make a thread to keep up with progress on my escalade.

Decided to sell my 08 vortecmax crew cab silverado a few months ago. Had the truck since 2017 and had my share of fun with it but it was time for something bigger for the family..

I'm a lowered truck guy so the silverado was 6/9 on 20s/22s/24s depending on how I was feeling at that time. It was a l76/4l65/14 bolt. Loved it but the time came to let someone else enjoy it, as I have other projects.

So, I work in sales at a dealership and our sister lot traded for this 2007 Escalade with 132k. 6.2, 2wd, super clean, long list of receipts from maintenance over the last few years. I inquired and was able to buy it $500 over cost making my price too good to pass up.

Picked it up and then sold my crew cab. I've been chipping away at little things I want and planning for bigger upgrades. Right now the air ride has been deleted and it has a leveling kit on it. Not a fan of the stance but ill be lowering it so that's not a problem.

So far I've colormatched the hood trim, debadged the doors and tailgate, updated to led lighting, and added a smooth colormatched license applique in the rear. I've got a set of colormatched handles waiting to go on too. Might delete the wiper but still unsure on that as of now. I've got a 3/5 kit waiting to go on as well as a set of newer oem 22s.

I'll try to keep this thing updated as I go. Not going crazy with this one as it is my family hauler but tune, exhaust and maayyyybe a mild cam are in the future plans

I have A 2WD Escalade and Yukon Denali. I just passed up buying an Escalade ESV in my favorite Xenon Blue that I’ll probably never find another partially because it was AWD and didn’t want the project of deleting it.

What years are you looking for? There's a blue '21 for $116K! Couple of blue K2s for half that.

looking good so far, cant wait to see what it looks like later. the others look great also!
Thank you sir! Can't wait to get it a little lower and get these handles swapped out.
Come to Florida! FYI White03ECSB: Those RWDs have the 9.5" 14-Bolt semi-floater so you won't have to upgrade it when you supercharge the motor!
Good to know! Turbo for the blue truck before this one gets boosted but I would definitely love to get it there one day. Lol

Got my colormatched handles swapped out this morning. The 2 fronts were broken and had be glued back previously. And if it isn't already obvious, I'm try to make this thing a little different than every other stock one in the cleanest oem+ way. Plans are to get some colormatched fender vents for it next.

I'll keep an eye out, just 1.4% of all Escalades had that color in 2012. I was hoping to find a 6.2 NHT Sierra in that color, they called it Heritage Blue Metallic in 2013.

Yeah, I’ll probably never find another then especially if that 1.4% includes short and long wheel base. Hopefully we can just make the short one we have work.

Those fender vents are a ***** to replace.
Yea I figured they would be lol. I'd like to find some out of a premium or platinum that are painted with the chrome inserts. If not, I'll buy some regular ones and paint them.

You’ll need them of a 12-14 Premium. The Platinum ones are the same as a regular Escalade. I would recommend buying them new. I bought two used ones that both came in broken and the third one was usable but I had to replace the double sided tape on the edges which was a real pain and it still doesn’t look as good as the new one I ended up ordering for the other side.

Thanks for the heads up! Where did you end up ordering them from?
