Thanks, ill check em out. Its almost like something is blocking the blowers. Do these trucks have cabin filters?

01's have cabins air filters, if it's really clogged it could stop a lot of air flow. Takes 5 minutes to pull them out. Even if they are not that clogged, wouldn't be a bad idea to change them.

Step 1

Open the passenger door wide.

Step 2

Locate the kick plate cover beneath the glove box and remove the screws to it using the Phillips screwdriver. You will now be able to see the door to the cabin air filter.

Step 3

Remove the screw to the cabin air filter door using the ratchet and socket. The door has a small molded hinge holding it on the opposite side of the screw. Unhinge it and set it aside.

Step 4

Pull the front of the first air filter straight down to extract it from the cabin air filter box. Behind that in the air box is a second cabin air filter. Slide that one forward and then pull it down like the first one.

Step 5

Replace the two piece filter system reversing the procedure.

Step 6

Reattach the cabin air filter door and tighten the screw.

Step 7

Replace the kick plate and screws.

Alrighty, thanks for the input. He probably won't do anything about it anyway. If it adds to anything nothing is coming out of the vents, hot air, regular air, nothin. But the blowers goin strong

I would check the filters if you can hear the blower and nothing is coming out, easiest thing to do.

+1 on the cabin filter. I can't imagine the filters would be clogged bad enough to cause that kind of problem though...they'd have to REALLY be full of yuck for that to happen, and you'd probably smell it. Good place to at least start though.

It seems odd to me that you're not getting anything out of the vents though. Is there ANY air moving, or is it completely dead? If it's completely dead, it almost sounds like something is lodged just inside of the blower preventing the air from circulating. Strange. Let us know whats up if you get it figured out.

Haven't taken it apart yet, but there is a tiny bit of air movement. I dunno what's up with it. He might have to do it on his own
