Very nice work! Been following the project for some time now. I just ordered a couple packs of dynamat as well to do my truck in the coming up weeks. I order 2 packs of the bulk 20 SQ Feet. Should be enough...Or atleast I hope. lol...

Thank you all, I never really had someone teach me...Just always been real handy. My Pop is a turbine engineer, and he and I have a business in that field where I am always taking complex pumps and things like that apart to check for damage. So I'm always using my brain and hands at the same time. Plus I probably have an OCD thing when it comes to planing out something in my head and making it just the way I pictured, I don't know.

Well anyways I hit the frames with a palm sander untill I was happy with them for fiberglass & body filler. Here is how they look now.

Enough to do the floor maybe... I would start under the front, and work your way back. That way if you run out it's in the cargo area and your truck is driveable.

Ok, Good advice, Didn't think of that. How long did it take you to get the floor done? A day or so?

Yeah, I'd say about 1 1/2- 2 days for the floor and the doors, if you hit it hard.

Ok, As for the doors, did you just cut out a template and then cut out the Dynamat or did you use the plastic sheet / cover to trace down a template?

Also, How did you cut it? Utility knife?

The aluminum on the dynamat is pretty thick and can hold a shape if you press it in place with the backing paper still on. So hold it where you want it, just slightly over the edge you are going to cut. Press it to the door so it hold the shape of the edge of the door. Then when you pull it away you can see exactly where you want to cut. Utility knife would be best on a piece of plywood.

Here's a couple shots with the monitor in place to get a better idea...

I forgot the Tiger Hair at work so looks like I'll get to the fiberglass and filler tomorrow...Oh well, Pats & Saints on tonight so it's all good!

Gonna look sweet when you get those things done! And Ok, Thanks for all the help. I think for now I might do from the rear seat back and then when I get a free weekend do the front.

Yeah they both will be 740bt's The front for the functions, and the rear just to match the front. Plus I think it's a beautiful monitor, and matches my D310 perfectly. Good idea with the center ch. My audio processor can create a phantom center speaker using the kick panel speakers.

which processor are you using? I've got an Alpine pxa-701 controlled by my Alpine double din it's amazing the adjustability you get with the processor.
