Coolant keeps getting low

could be a leaking castec cylinder head.. If you have a 706 casting number on your head, those puppies were bad about leaking coolant into the oil.. Do a net search on castec cylinder head

Thanks Scott I will check your write up on that and see if I can fix it. And Boss I will get some of that additive stuff and give it a try. I might try and stop by sometime, when I'm back home I live close to Dallas, but I go to school in Abilene and thats where I live now. Thanks for all the input guys.

mine has the same problem and its the little weep hole on the water pump. i just haven't had time to replace it or the money to buy a new one for that matter. plus our house was burglarized just last week. :favorites68: but anyways its more than likely your water pump that needs to be replaced.
