I just bought a 2012 Yukon. It doesn't have factory navigation or DVD, but we will probably add both. Is there ANY way to install the DVD player to work with console controls? I would hope to pick out my own DVD player, rather than go with factory, and don't have a navigation console picked out. It would be really nice to control the DVD through the front. Thanks everyone! Can't wait to pick it up!

I have an aftermarket pioneer screen and some head rest monitors I got from a member here. I can control mine through the front BUT with the caveat of turning on the head rest monitor and changing the input via remote control infrared. Sitting in the drivers seat I just flip my arm over my head with remote in-hand and turn it on then change input. Kind of lame but it was my only work around :/
Thanks felixgun. I went through the overhead and headrest debate with my last vehicle. I have a middle bench on my Yukon, and will probably keep the right passenger seat out, so wouldn't have a screen for that kid in third row...
