Anyone ever have any issues with the climate control buttons just going black? I can control the climate from my screen but not the actual buttons below.

I have a ‘24 high country Tahoe. A few days ago the buttons to the duo control just went black along with my heated seat buttons, etc.
My entire infotainment system still works and so do the all the USB’s below the climate control center.

When this happened, my check engine light came on at the same time and I got a notif on my Chevy app that read “
Engine Electrical System, including the Charging and Starting System”

The power button to my climate control works but I cannot control anything else.

I have an appt to get it in, but I just got it back from the dealer a week ago from having issues with the suspension system.

I don’t even have 10k miles on this one so I just cannot figure out what it could be.

Gonna need the dealer for that...could be wiring, chafed wiring, fuse, body control module issue, switch module issue, etc...The MIL (multi function indicator light, aka Check Engine) with the message definitely implies you got problems.

You could hit the OnStar button and ask them to run a remote diagnostic...might get some more Diagnostic Trouble Codes from them.
