Chrome strip on hood of Escalade

I just got my new chrome piece that goes on the hood of my Escalade by the grill. When I open the hood it looks like clips hold it on, how do I remove the old and put on the new. Do I press the tabs push? I just don't want to mess it up Thanks

I think it just snaps in, try pushing your old one out. I wasn't there when my dad installed our Platinum one but from what he said it doesn't sound like it was too difficult.
