Do you have wireless charging and CarPlay? I keep mine on the wireless charger and the center screen shows my phone icons.

Not a Tahoe, but an AT4 of my design/3d print.

I have a magnet mount puck attached to my radio bezel to the top left of the radio. I just plop it on there. Only thing that sucks is when you are in drive the shift stalk blocks it. BUt it is out of the way, not blocking the AC vent, not hanging off some big d*ck mount contraption on the top dash panel/windshield.

My son uses a small mount attached to his vent. It doesn’t really block much air. It clips on and uses some kind of fancy material that looks like rubber. No magnets or goo. I can put my phone on it or his and it just sticks. I’ll see if I can find it. He’s a techy so if it didn’t work he’d ditch it.

Look at ProclipUSA. They have a variety of vehicle specific mounts that can be mixed and matched with device specific holders. Often you have a choice of mounting locations too. I have two in my K2.

You can use them for other stuff too.

Pro clip makes a very very good product. Had them in 2 of my past vehicles. Very happy and high quality.
