Catch can green light for me, edited

I have a 2016 Yukon XL Denali with 98,000 miles.
I bought it used in 2023 with 75,000 miles on the odometer.
At 77,800 miles, the lifters failed. The repair was covered by power train warranty 100%.

The day I got it back I installed the J&L catch can. I empty it monthly with a reminder set on my Google calendar. It's usually about 1/3 full.
Who is the provider for your power train warranty? Sounds like you were treated right.

The dealer offers lifetime powertrain on every vehicle they sell. You are only required to maintain oil changes per manual regs or keep receipts if you do you own.

Pricey can, but top quality, not sure the overall quality is so important, but it is very high quality. If comes with all hardware, bracket, proper length hoses and the correct quick fittings.

Reviews were good, it seems to work well and when I needed to install in in the middle of the Winter, I really did not want to make an all day job of cutting hoses, making brakets and so forth. So I went with it, no regrets.

Factory hose was not butchered, so I have it in the rear compartment if I ever need to put it back to stock.

Mounting location is pretty good IMHO, up high under the hood over the valve cover/exhaust manifold so hopefully in the Winter it stays warm so moisture does not freeze in the can or hoses. I am sure in extremely cold areas this may be something to watch out for. Even the BMW factory systems freeze, some are even heated. But on the factory separators that drain into the dipstick tube, sometimes when the system freezes, it can cause the oil to be sucked out of the crankcase and cause a oil hydrolock or at least a mess with sometimes breaking the plastic valve cover!! With a can you have to empty, you eliminate this problem!!
